    They do this a certain day each month, watch the paper, and you might try calling the Cop Shop for info- most are not good cars from Criminals, they keep those for undercover work, what you find mostly is Vehilces towed off the side of the road, junk- but once in awhile a fixer upper.

    Your best bet would be to call the local police office (using their non-emergency number, of course!) and asking them when they hold their auctions.

    Also, check with local towing companies. Many of these companies sell off towed, unclaimed cars every month or so. I’ve bought a car there once, although it was for parts and not for transportation. There’s a reason many of these cars were towed…
